Are we comparing AI (e.g. ChatGPT) to humans on the Wrong Vectors?

Chat GPT — 4 has thrown the world in a tizzy and rightfully so. It is the harbinger of super intelligence or Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). AGI is a state of intelligence higher than most humans. There is no doubt that AI will trounce humans in data crunching, drawing inferences and over time even in intelligence. Initially, AI would be a tool to help or enhance human ability followed by AI surpassing human intelligence.

There is also no doubt that creativity will be another vector that AI progresses along. AI can easily take over technical writing (which is more science than art) and coding. In the most utopian of outcomes, there will be

The one vector that AI can never beat humans on is consciousness. That is because AI is not aware of its raison d’etre or its purpose in life. Therefore, the ability for AI to beat humans on intelligence and creativity will force mankind to focus on the most important vector i.e. consciousness.
